About the position

TikTok is seeking talented individuals for an internship in 2025, aimed at providing students with industry exposure and hands-on experience. The internship program will last between 10 to 24 weeks, allowing candidates to engage in innovative projects related to computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning. Interns will have the opportunity to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, contributing to the development and research of cutting-edge technologies while gaining valuable insights into the tech industry.

Responsibilities

• Conducting development and research on cutting-edge CV, NLP, multi-modality, LLM, generative modeling.
• Following state-of-the-art progress in relevant fields and transforming ideas into production.
• Life-cycle model development, from model training, deployment, maintenance, to its use in business scenarios.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a PhD Degree.
• Experience in one or more areas of computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning.
• Solid knowledge and experience with at least one major deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch, Tensorflow, MXNet).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields.
• Graduating December 2025 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
• Authors with publications in top-tier venues such as SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR.
