Responsibilities

• Evaluate scientific research to support the Nutrilite global product portfolios.
• Provide scientific credibility to differentiate Nutrilite products from competitors.
• Work on front end research to identify relevant mechanisms of action and outcomes.
• Partner with internal teams and/or external partners to advance ingredient and product technologies.
• Develop protocols for clinical studies if warranted.
• Identify appropriate CRO or academic partners for studies.
• Oversee study execution and results analysis.
• Translate study results into consumer-friendly and regulatory acceptable claims and stories.
• Travel globally to meet Amway Business Owners (ABOs) and share expert insights about Nutrilite products, nutrition, and health.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Bioscience, Nutrition, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Microbiology or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 -4 years background in scientific research, methods, analysis and data interpretation and publication.
• Track record of scientific presentations and/or educating the public on nutrition.
• Ability to translate complex scientific and technical concepts into consumer appropriate language.
• Interpersonal skills to influence and inspire both internal and external audiences.
• Experience leading clinical studies in an industry setting is helpful.
• Background in successful grant applications helpful.
• Industry awareness with knowledge of trends and innovation desired.
