Responsibilities

  • Conduct fundamental research in robotics, focusing on areas such as dexterous manipulation, robot control, and 3D representation learning.
  • Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
  • Collaborate with academic and industrial partners to advance robotics technology.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns within the lab.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams to integrate robotics with AI and deep learning.

Requirements

  • PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant research or work experience in robotics or related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of robotics theory and practice, with a focus on practical applications.
  • Proven track record of research excellence with publications in top conferences and journals.
  • Exceptional programming skills in Python, PyTorch, or JAX, with fluency in C/C++; knowledge of CUDA and ROS is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic research-focused team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and interns.
  • Familiarity with large vision-language-action models.
  • Background in self-driving cars or physics-based simulation.
