In addition to laboratory work, the Research Scientist will assist the Maitra Lab with data management, including data analysis, manuscript preparation, and grant applications. The role requires participation in both internal and external group meetings to present findings and generate comprehensive reports. Maintaining meticulous experimental records is essential, as is the preparation and submission of manuscripts to share research outcomes with the broader scientific community. The position may also involve other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall mission of the lab and the institution. Candidates for this position should possess a Master's degree in a natural science or a related field, with a minimum of four years of experience in experimental or scientific work. Alternatively, candidates with a PhD are not required to have prior experience, while those with a medical degree must have at least two years of relevant experience.
