About the position

The position is focused on semiconductor manufacturing processes and involves collaboration with the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to develop advanced long-range technology. The role requires expertise in light matter interaction, device physics simulations, and characterization techniques for semiconductor devices. The successful candidate will contribute to technology development roadmaps and work closely with vendors to drive innovation in the semiconductor ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Engage in research and development of advanced semiconductor technologies.
• Analyze and interpret data using physics principles to inform technology development.
• Oversee vendor relationships for technology development.
• Collaborate with product divisions and strategic marketing to align technology with market needs.
• Present technical information clearly and effectively, both in writing and orally.

Requirements

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication.
• Proficiency in light matter interaction and device physics simulations.
• Familiarity with optics, lasers, and electron-matter interactions.
• Experience with characterization and failure analysis techniques for semiconductor devices.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
