About the position

The Scientist position involves conducting and monitoring laboratory experiments under general supervision, utilizing established procedures and technical understanding. The role requires making recommendations to resolve experimental problems, ensuring the accuracy and quality of results, and effectively communicating findings through reports and presentations. The Scientist is responsible for maintaining safety standards and compliance with regulatory agencies while analyzing data and documenting processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and monitor laboratory experiments utilizing established procedures.
• Make recommendations to resolve problems encountered during experimental procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of experimental results.
• Summarize experimental results and review conclusions with supervisor/project leader.
• Communicate results of experiments in the form of reports and presentations.
• Keep supervisor/project leader informed of project status, particularly significant findings.
• Analyze experimental data using various data analysis software and quantitative methods.
• Document experimental methods and results in an electronic notebook.
• Participate in routine lab maintenance, lab safety, ISO, and QSR implementation.
• Troubleshoot issues related to instrumentation.

Requirements

• Ph.D./Master's/Bachelor's in life sciences, chemical sciences, or related scientific field.
• Typically 0 to 3 years of relevant industry experience for Sci I/II positions.
• More than 1 year of relevant industry experience preferred for Sci I/II positions.
• Ph.D./Master's/Bachelor's in life sciences, chemical sciences, or related scientific field with 0/2/5+ years relevant experience for Senior Scientist positions.

• More than 1 year of relevant industry experience preferred.
