Our expertise encompasses a variety of areas, including tools for training deep learning models, language and code generation models, privacy-preserving machine learning, probabilistic programming, inference performance optimization, and AI agents, among others. Oracle Labs is the sole organization at Oracle dedicated exclusively to research. We focus on developing technologies that keep Oracle at the forefront of the computer industry. Our researchers study and design novel approaches and methodologies, often tackling projects with high risk or uncertainty that are challenging to address within a product development organization. The research conducted at Oracle Labs is aimed at achieving real-world outcomes, with the goal of developing technologies that will play a significant role in the evolution of technology and society. Notable innovations such as chip multithreading and the Java programming language originated from work done in Oracle Labs. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing novel large language models, including AI Agents. You will publish original research, create new datasets that lead to meaningful improvements in large language models and AI Agents, and open source high-quality code and reproducible research. Collaboration with other team members, internal teams, and external researchers will be a key aspect of your work, as well as transferring technology to product groups.
