Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory synthesis for new product development and optimization projects.
- Analyze laboratory and plant samples using techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, rheology, and titrations.
- Construct mechanical setups for laboratory experiments, including working with compression fittings and small gauge tubing.
- Assist with on-site plant trials to facilitate technology transfer.
- Document laboratory results, collect data, perform basic calculations, and interpret results.
- Participate actively in the lab safety program, including training and inspections.
Requirements
- Strong focus on laboratory safety and hazard recognition.
- Experience with laboratory synthesis and analysis techniques.
- Ability to construct mechanical setups for laboratory experiments.
