About the position

The Research Threat Analyst at Hexagon US Federal plays a crucial role in supporting the Missiles & Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) by providing technical services that enhance operational decision-making and mission effectiveness. This position involves the design, development, and integration of software systems, as well as the creation of analytical threat models to guide threat study teams. The ideal candidate will leverage intelligence community resources to conduct expert-level research and analysis of threats, particularly in the context of electronic warfare and intelligence systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services in support of the Missiles & Space Intelligence Center (MSIC).
• Design and develop computer software systems for intelligence functions.
• Plan and integrate system installations and support.
• Contribute to the development of analytical threat models.
• Provide functional guidance and direction to threat study teams.
• Leverage multiple collection methods and production resources within the intelligence community.
• Conduct expert-level research and analysis of intelligence data related to threat studies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software deployment and engineering research.
• Experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence community.
• Strong analysis skills and ability to create and deliver briefings.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• TS/SCI clearance with a current CI Polygraph.
• Detailed knowledge of DoD intelligence communities and collection methods.
• Minimum of 8+ years of specialized experience in research using intelligence data.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience supporting threat model engineering or intelligence community study development.
• Knowledge of foreign design institutes responsible for developing weapon systems.
