About The Position

The Reservation Sales Agent at Sundial Beach Resort & Spa is responsible for managing guest reservations through phone and email communications. This role focuses on maximizing room revenue while ensuring exceptional guest service and satisfaction. The agent will utilize various software systems to book reservations, respond to inquiries, and provide detailed information about hotel services and amenities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in management or sales preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and call center applications.
• Strong conflict management and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Experience with Opera system preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Reservation Sales Agent preferred.
• Opera Cloud experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Book room reservations while maximizing revenue and average rates.
• Stay updated on rate changes and promotions for the resort.
• Upsell rooms and additional services when possible.
• Respond to emails and voicemails within business hours.
• Process deposits and send confirmations to guests after reservations are made.
• Review confirmations for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist guests with reservations, transfers, and changes to existing bookings.
• Maintain knowledge of all services offered by the resort for upselling opportunities.
• Adhere to compliance rules and maintain proficiency in Opera and other systems.
• Monitor daily sales activity and follow up on reservations.
• Participate in emergency procedures as required.
• Provide outstanding guest service and support team communication.
