About the position

The Reservations Intern at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts will gain practical experience in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment. This internship offers opportunities to develop skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, sales techniques, and professional communication, all while contributing to the guest experience at various Hershey properties.

Responsibilities

• Providing information about the Hershey destination, including resort availability, rates, package plans, events, promotions, and attractions.
• Thinking analytically to seek alternatives and resolve guest opportunities.
• Developing sales techniques aimed at revenue maximization.
• Building rapport and gaining trust over the phone to enhance the guest experience.
• Completing daily reports and assisting in the quality assurance review process to ensure high levels of guest service.
• Developing technical skills with ResortSuite, Revinate, Google Workspace, Passkey, Gmail, and other reservation systems.
• Attending regular professional development series sessions throughout the summer.
• Performing duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate education or a Spring 2025 college graduate.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Detail-oriented with organization and planning skills.
• Must pass typing test to demonstrate ability to serve guests quickly and accurately (minimum 32 words per minute).
• Self-motivated with personal drive for success.
• Must display professionalism and a positive demeanor.
• Desire and willingness to learn and grow.
