About the position

Eden Prairie Schools is actively seeking Reserve Teachers who are Spanish speaking to fill substitute teaching roles across elementary, middle, and high school locations. Reserve teachers play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of education for students when their regular classroom teachers are unavailable. This position is essential in ensuring that students continue to receive high-quality instruction and support in their learning environment. The district is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational atmosphere, and we invite you to consider joining our team in this vital capacity. To qualify for the Reserve Teacher position, applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree. While a current teaching license is not required, candidates with a Bachelor's degree can apply for a Short Call or Limited Short Call Substitute Teacher license through the Minnesota teacher licensing standards board, PELSB. This pathway allows individuals who are passionate about teaching and helping students to engage in meaningful educational experiences without the necessity of a traditional teaching license. If you hold a Bachelor's degree and have a desire to contribute to the educational journey of students, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity. Eden Prairie Schools is a large district with over 1,400 employees serving approximately 9,000 students. The district is recognized for its commitment to quality educational initiatives and innovative programming.
