About the position

The Overnight Reset Merchandising Team Lead at Signature Retail Services is responsible for managing and executing merchandising projects at various retail locations, primarily in the home improvement sector. This role involves supervising a team of merchandisers, ensuring compliance with merchandising plans, and maintaining effective communication with store management. The position requires travel to different project sites, often necessitating overnight shifts, and offers competitive pay based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage reset and remodel projects at various retail locations, ensuring that all merchandising plans are executed according to the company's guidelines.
  • Supervise and lead a team of 5-15 merchandisers, providing direction, support, and on-the-job training to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient implementation of planograms, resets, and fixture installations in alignment with the store's layout and standards.
  • Oversee the installation of shelving, racking, and displays, ensuring all units are properly assembled and placed.
  • Organize and maintain product stock throughout the reset process, ensuring the accurate placement of inventory.
  • Work closely with store management and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and address any challenges.
  • Travel to various store locations, often working in different regions, and manage overnight shifts to meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct final inspections of merchandising resets to ensure compliance with company and store standards.
  • Provide daily updates to management on progress, challenges, and team performance during reset projects.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • 2+ Years of Team Lead or Supervisory experience in a Reset Merchandising or Construction Labor position, overseeing up to 15 employees.
  • Previous merchandising and reset experience in Home Depot, Lowes, ACE Hardware, Walmart, Target, or other big box retailers is a Plus!
  • Experience setting products to planogram, reading blueprints, signage installation, building displays, price labels, and daily reporting.
  • Possess a personable and friendly demeanor with clients, customers, and team members at all times.
  • Access to a personal vehicle and a smartphone with internet access, voice, email, and text.
  • Show proof of Valid Driver's License and proof of auto insurance coverage.
  • Must meet all pre-employment and post-employment screening requirements such as a background check and motor vehicle record check.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, sit, stand, walk, carry materials/products, and safely utilize rolling staircases and/or climb ladders.
  • Must be able to meet lifting requirements up to 50 lbs repeatedly and regularly without any assistance for the duration of the shift.
