About the position

The Resident Coordinator at Yellowstone General Stores is responsible for maintaining the housing facilities for associates, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. This seasonal role offers the opportunity to work in one of the most iconic national parks while providing essential support to both guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide associates residing in company housing a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Clean public areas, rooms, restrooms, and stores according to department procedures and guidelines.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash waste and recycling to disposal area.
• Conduct walk-around of assigned areas to assure that the facility meets housekeeping standards.
• Assist guests and team members, escalating concerns or questions to supervisor or manager as needed.
• Assist management in organizing team member engagement events and programs.
• Report maintenance repair problems to Supervisor.
• Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged on a daily basis.
• Replenish supplies, keep all linen rooms and work areas neat, clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to deescalate guest and team member complaints or concerns and redirect to management.
• Demonstrated judgement to appropriately use management chain of command.
• Previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred.
• Experience arranging recognition events or programs preferred.
• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures.
• Ability to solve problems and work quickly under pressure.
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
• Ability to flex work schedule as needed which may include weekend or evening hours.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred.
• Experience arranging recognition events or programs preferred.
