About The Position

The Residency Relations Specialist is responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with residents and residency programs to enhance awareness of opportunities within the organization. This role involves coordinating residency recruitment events and promoting the organization's culture to ensure it is the preferred choice for residents in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Anesthesia service lines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, sales, physician recruiting, or event management.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to excel under pressure and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Highly energetic, self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with divisional leadership to plan effective residency recruitment strategies.
  • Research residency program demographics and identify key contacts within assigned territory.
  • Organize and attend residency recruitment functions, collaborating with residency program contacts to execute events.
  • Identify and collaborate with physicians to attend and speak at recruitment functions, arranging travel as needed.
  • Negotiate pricing terms with vendors for recruitment functions.
  • Market recruitment events through various channels and manage promotional item selection and ordering.
  • Present the organization's brand and information at residency recruitment events.
  • Collaborate with physician recruiters to match residents with suitable opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing communication and feedback to divisional leadership regarding recruitment events.
  • Correspond with residents within the assigned territory and conduct cold calls to achieve recruiting goals.
  • Manage individual working budget for residency recruitment outreach.
  • Update and maintain resident information in the TeamWorks system.
  • Interface with Marketing, Accounting, and Physician Recruiting to ensure efficient execution of recruitment functions.
