About the position

The Residency Sales Counselor is responsible for managing the sales process from initial inquiry to residency, ensuring effective representation and promotion of the community to potential residents and their influencers. This role focuses on meeting and exceeding sales expectations through negotiation, communication, and strategic marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Meets and exceeds personal sales expectations
  • Manages the sales process from initial inquiry to residency by effectively promoting the community to the prospect
  • Negotiates obstacles and issues by understanding client needs and collaborating with community management
  • Effectively responds to new inquiries in a timely manner
  • Independently manages prospect inquiries and ensures timely follow through
  • Utilizes C3 Leads effectively by promptly inputting data and managing assigned lead base
  • Uses Direct Sales Performance Indicators (DSPI's) to set goals and diagnose areas of strength and needed improvement
  • Generates adequate presentations through effective prospecting including phone outs, referral generation, and home visits
  • Staffs the office to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Communicates with key influencers to facilitate timely commitment to the community
  • Participates in marketing events as directed by the Marketing and Sales Director
  • Understands and represents all documents related to residency, including Residency Agreement and Disclosure Statement
  • Provides feedback to community leadership regarding information learned through the sales process

Requirements

  • Experience in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Must have a valid California Real Estate Salesperson License
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid presentation skills (small and large group)
  • Strong closing skills
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent and one year of sales experience
