About the position

The Resident Advisor at Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions plays a crucial role in supporting individuals in recovery by assisting them with day-to-day tasks and fostering a supportive recovery environment. This position involves collaboration with various departments to ensure effective treatment and adherence to program expectations, ultimately contributing to the clients' recovery journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance to individuals in recovery residing in the housing program.
• Monitor resident progress and ensure adherence to program expectations.
• Complete billing and documentation accurately and in a timely manner according to agency expectations.
• Evaluate daily living functioning and assist residents in creating goals to maintain sobriety.
• Attend Ohio Recovery Housing training and conferences as scheduled and complete ORH surveys.
• Participate in community activities that best represent the professional image of Lighthouse.
• Document notes and communicate daily shift notes with the housing supervisor.
• Serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator for residents.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems.
• Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and insurance.
• Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screening.
• Willingness to obtain CMS certification upon hire (must be eligible to bill Medicaid).
• Familiarity with computers and technology, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Must be 25 years or older.
