About the position
The Resident Care Associate (CNA) at The Bungalows at Mayfield is responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to residents in assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. This role emphasizes hands-on care, emotional support, and adherence to personalized service plans while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents and their families.
Responsibilities
- Participates in the development and updates of the Personalized Service Plans (PSP) for residents.
- Maintains hydration schedules for residents during shifts.
- Completes resident meal attendance sheets and provides room service as needed.
- Ensures compliance with all resident rights and regulations.
- Initiates, assigns, and assists with activities for residents as appropriate.
- Checks assigned residents daily for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, and any changes in condition.
- Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions in care.
- Conducts daily checks on assigned resident rooms for cleanliness and safety.
- Assists with laundry and common area cleanliness, reporting any hazards.
- Completes all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for assigned residents according to their PSP.
- Responds promptly to security systems and resident call bells.
Requirements
- High school education preferred, may be required by the state.
- Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to perform personal care aspects of the position.
- Knowledge and experience in assisted living and dementia care or skilled nursing is preferred.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.
Benefits
- Hourly wage of $11-13.
