About the position

The Resident Care Companion or STNA position at Danbury Senior Living is focused on providing compassionate care to residents, assisting them with daily living activities, and fostering meaningful relationships. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and requires a caring attitude and a commitment to service.

Responsibilities

• Interact with residents while engaging in activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with daily personal care routines such as showers, bathing, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents prepare for and escort them to meals, activities, social programs, and appointments.
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.

Requirements

• STNA certification required for STNA positions.
• No certification required for Resident Care Companion positions.
• Experience working in a similar capacity in a Senior Living setting is helpful, but not required.
• A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors are a must.
