The Resident Field Technician at Pape' Machinery, Inc. is responsible for diagnosing and repairing construction and forestry equipment at customer locations. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all brands of heavy diesel equipment at customer locations.
• Ensure equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime.
• Travel to various locations in a fully loaded service vehicle to perform repairs.
• Interact with customers to provide top-notch service and support.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment or journeyman level experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
• Driver's license with a good driving record; Class B CDL preferred but not required.
• Must provide own tools.
• Must reside in the Yreka area.
