About the position

We are seeking a Family/Internal Medicine Physician to join our physician-led, patient-centric network dedicated to simplifying health care and delivering more connected care. Our team serves millions of patients through traditional practices, home visits, and virtual consultations. In this role, you will have access to physician leaders and knowledge-sharing opportunities across a national network. We aim to reduce the administrative burden on our physicians by providing robust support and highly trained staff at each location to handle walk-in and primary care physician (PCP) overflow. You will work with an easy-to-use, optimized Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system that includes full telehealth capabilities, and you will collaborate with cross-trained care management and population health teams. Our innovative clinical model offers high earnings potential aligned with your contributions to patient care. We are looking for candidates who possess strong personal and professional skills for success in this role. You should have at least 2 years of clinical outpatient experience post-residency, a current and unrestricted Texas State license or eligibility for licensure, and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Additionally, you must have certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), active registration or eligibility to register with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, and familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Athena, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a family/internal medicine setting.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans based on clinical guidelines.
  • Manage chronic and acute health conditions in a patient-centered manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  • Utilize telehealth capabilities to provide care to patients remotely.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of clinical outpatient experience, post residency.
