About the position

The Resident Relations Specialist (RRS) at Progress Residential is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service during the new home orientation process for residents. This role ensures a smooth transition into a Progress home by setting clear expectations for both the services provided by Progress Property Management and the responsibilities of the residents. The RRS acts as a key point of contact for new residents, providing them with essential information and support to enhance their residency experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Progress Customer Service experience during new home orientations.
• Conduct pre-move in inspections and complete minor repairs or service requests.
• Verify that utilities are connected and that appropriate trash/recycle receptacles are available.
• Review and demonstrate the operation of irrigation systems and Smart Home systems to residents.
• Regularly inspect vacant homes to ensure cleanliness and readiness for new residents.
• Confirm lease agreements and collect move-in payments prior to the move-in date.
• Perform new resident orientations and provide key information about residency responsibilities.
• Complete move-in checklists and ensure all documentation is uploaded into Salesforce in a timely manner.
• Follow up with new residents within 24 to 48 hours after move-in to communicate important information.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or service-type business required.
• Basic maintenance and repair skills preferred.
• Comfortable with technology, with knowledge of Salesforce and Yardi being a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
• Knowledge of the local area is required.
• Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
