About the position

The Resident Service Manager is responsible for developing and implementing activities programs that cater to the social, educational, and physical needs of residents within a residential learning community. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with third-party vendors, and ensuring the effectiveness of various programs while fostering community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Resident Activities employees responsible for coordinating activities and programs for residents.
• Research, evaluate, develop, and implement resident activity programs tailored to specific community property sites.
• Establish and manage relationships with relevant third-party vendors providing services to the communities.
• Recruit, research, approve schedules, and supervise program leaders, entertainers, volunteers, and other professionals.
• Schedule various events and activities, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of operating processes and procedures, making recommendations for modifications as needed.
• Engage and motivate residents to participate in programs.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license to drive a golf cart on property.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree in business or related field preferred.
• Experience with property management software (Yardi and One Site) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated management and supervisory skills to lead and mentor staff.
• Proficiency in mathematical skills for financial records and budgeting.
