About the position
The Resident Services Coordinator II at Mercy Housing plays a crucial role in facilitating and implementing core programs aimed at supporting residents in an affordable housing community. This position involves assessing community needs, linking residents to necessary services, and building partnerships to enhance service delivery. The coordinator will also collect and analyze data to measure program outcomes and actively participate in initiatives that promote resident stability and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and implement core programs as delegated by the program model.
- Collect and record data to measure program outcomes in the Mercy Housing database.
- Identify human and community service needs of residents and develop strategies to link them with needed services.
- Build community partnerships to enhance service delivery and promote the property.
- Deliver direct services when other services are not available.
- Participate with other staff to work toward resident stability.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in community development, social services, or a related field.
Nice-to-haves
- Two years of experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
- Two years of experience working with senior and developmentally disabled populations.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Experience conducting community assessments and organizing community groups or events.
- Experience supervising staff.
