About the position

The Resident Services Coordinator at Augusta Rental Homes is responsible for enhancing resident engagement and ensuring high-quality communication between residents, property owners, and the company. This entry-level position involves managing incoming calls, assisting with maintenance requests, coordinating move-in and move-out processes, and supporting property managers in various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a high level of customer service and communication with residents and owners.
  • Answer all incoming calls to the company in a timely manner, ensuring customer service is prioritized.
  • Provide high-quality support to property managers regarding resident inquiries and maintenance requests.
  • Initiate and coordinate processes for move-ins and move-outs, ensuring timely communication with residents and portfolio managers.
  • Follow established processes for NSF and collection procedures, ensuring timely communication and fee applications.
  • Conduct leasing duties as time allows, including following up on leads and promoting available units.
  • Ensure accurate and timely acquisition of funds related to leasing, including fees and deposits.
  • Utilize company software programs effectively to manage and track operations.
  • Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service position, preferably in property management.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of local housing provisions and federal fair housing laws.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software used in leasing and property management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in single-family and multi-family property management environments.
  • Ability to read and comprehend resident lease ledgers in conjunction with lease agreements.
