About the position

The Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) plays a vital role in supporting residents at True Ground Housing Partners, a nonprofit affordable housing developer. This position focuses on empowering residents through information, resources, and programming to help them thrive in their community. The RSC is responsible for coordinating resident programs, providing direct support, and assisting with administrative tasks to enhance the overall resident experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, prepare, manage, and execute assigned resident programs based on resident needs and interests.
  • Ensure effective scheduling of events and outreach to residents, including room setup and material preparation.
  • Manage and engage volunteers to support programming and promote retention.
  • Assist residents with lease compliance issues and coordinate necessary services.
  • Maintain regular contact with residents through face-to-face meetings and phone calls.
  • Promote classes, workshops, and special events through various mediums.
  • Collect, manage, and analyze data through the case management platform.
  • Manage and reconcile a monthly program/services budget.
  • Create monthly/quarterly calendars of events and produce outreach materials.
  • Participate in staff calls and meetings with property managers and leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience working directly with underserved populations preferred.
  • Experience in the human services field strongly preferred.
  • Fluent in English; additional fluency in Spanish, Amharic, or Mongolian is helpful.
  • Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Commitment to the mission of providing affordable housing and improving residents' lives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in program coordination or event management.
  • Knowledge of community resources and services available to residents.
