About the position

The Residential Aide position at Developmental Disabilities Ministries involves providing support and care to residents with developmental disabilities. The role focuses on assisting residents with daily living skills, maintaining records, and ensuring a dignified and respectful environment. This position is available in both part-time and full-time capacities, with various shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in daily living skills according to the Individual Support Plan (ISP) and skill levels.
• Maintain resident records in accordance with DDM policy.
• Utilize electronic documentation for health records, ISP goals, community activities, daily activities, and incident reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with no more than 2 driving violations in the past 3 years; no DUI or super speeder tickets.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in caregiving or support roles.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
