About the position

The Residential Associate position at ColumbiaCare Services involves working as part of a direct care team to support adults with serious mental illness. The role focuses on developing life skills, providing therapeutic interventions, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents. Responsibilities include housekeeping, meal preparation, medication administration, and accurate clinical documentation. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in direct support roles or caregiving for clients with behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions for residents.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Prepare meals for residents as needed.
• Administer medication to residents according to prescribed guidelines.
• Keep accurate clinical documentation of resident care and activities.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration.
• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or related field, or three years of verifiable behavioral health experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Oregon driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Assistant (RA), or similar role.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills, particularly in Spanish/English.
