About the position

The Residential Services & Behavior Department Administrative Assistant at Lakeside Neurologic plays a crucial role in supporting the operational and administrative functions of the department. This position is ideal for self-motivated individuals who are passionate about helping others achieve their goals. The assistant will be responsible for scheduling staff, providing administrative support to the directors, and maintaining essential databases related to client care and staff training.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule Residential Services Assistants, Technicians, Specialists, and Shift Supervisors, coordinating PTO and other staffing needs.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Residential Services and Director.
  • Monitor and track behavior-based staff training related to behavioral treatment plans and protocols.
  • Participate in daily morning meetings and weekly IDT meetings, collecting meeting minutes as required.
  • Oversee the collection and distribution of behavior protocols and maintain client daily paperwork.
  • Review and update POC notes and the LOS form for distribution.
  • Track ETO's, BARR's, and major problem behaviors for monthly meetings.
  • Complete various forms following incidents of problem behavior, such as SIR's and Post Reactive Strategy Forms.
  • Assist in providing information for external agency visits or surveys following policy and procedure.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with Excel-based databases.
  • Two years of experience as a Residential Services Assistant or in behavioral health direct care.
  • Two years of experience in a behavioral health, mental health, facility, hospital, corrections, or educational setting.
  • AS, AA, BA, or BS in Psychology, Education, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Must adhere to strict confidentiality policies and procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Point-Click Care software.
  • Certification as Level 2PS Practitioner in Professional Crisis Management.
