About the position

The Residential Construction Project Manager is responsible for estimating and managing residential renovation and remodeling projects in the Waco, TX area. This role involves preparing detailed estimates, developing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed accurate estimates for material, labor, equipment, subcontracts, construction facilities, etc.
• Develop a qualified pool of suppliers and subcontractors to bid jobs.
• Foster relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend on-site pre-bid/proposal conferences and site visits as needed.
• Develop and review subcontractor scopes of work.
• Accept, review, and contrast subcontractor/supplier proposals for accuracy, completeness, and best overall value.
• Prepare project bid status reports and ensure compliance with all specifications and contract Statements of Work and Bid Invitations.
• Present cost estimates to meet customer proposals, providing consideration for general and special conditions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related estimating experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read, understand, and organize construction plans and specifications
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Basic to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
