Residential Construction Project Manager

About the position

The Residential Construction Project Manager will oversee the development of single-family home projects from planning through completion. This role requires a strong background in residential construction, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Experience in light commercial construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the construction process, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting for single-family homes.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, site superintendent, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely project milestones.
• Monitor project budgets, prepare cost estimates, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to maintain quality standards, adherence to plans, and safety regulations.
• Work closely with site superintendents to resolve on-site issues and work to prevent delays, quality concerns, or budget overruns.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on project status, addressing any changes or concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience managing single-family residential construction projects.
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety protocols, and residential construction methods.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software desired.
• OSHA 30 card.
