The Residential Counselor position at The Edinburg Center involves providing essential care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
- Provide care and attention to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Attend paid house meetings every Tuesday from 1pm-3pm as required for most schedules.
- Support clients in daily activities and promote their independence.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in direct care or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
