About The Position
Community Resources for Justice (CRJ) is seeking compassionate and dependable Residential Counselors to join our team in Winchendon, MA. This full-time position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and offers a starting rate of $17.00 per hour. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. In this role, you will supervise and transport clients during assigned hours, which may include accompanying them to job interviews, medical appointments, recreational activities, religious services, and shopping trips. You will also support and teach clients new skills, focusing on specific goals outlined in their Individual Service Plans. Acting as a positive role model, you will help clients attain the highest quality of life while ensuring their safety in all settings. Additionally, you will be responsible for administering medications and completing necessary documentation in a timely manner, including progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance records.
