Community Resources for Justice (CRJ) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Residential Counselor to join our team in Carver, MA. This full-time position involves working 40 hours per week in a supportive environment dedicated to helping individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a crucial role in supervising and transporting clients during various activities, including job interviews, medical appointments, recreational outings, religious services, and shopping trips. Your responsibilities will also include teaching clients new skills aligned with their Individual Service Plans, acting as a positive role model, and ensuring their safety in all settings. In addition to direct client support, you will be responsible for administering medications and maintaining accurate documentation, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance records. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours, including job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others.
  • Must pass required certifications in the allotted time set forth by the agency.
  • Must pass a criminal and driver's check.
