About the position

The Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) position at P.I.L.O.T. Services involves providing support services to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. The role focuses on creating a fun and engaging environment while promoting the growth and development of individuals through various activities and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Actively support and supervise adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.
• Transport individuals to various trips and local community events for fun and recreation.
• Create meaningful environments and activities to support interest, growth, and development.
• Participate in planning and development of community-based activities.
• Engage in arts and crafts, food cooking, and other activities within our day facility complex.
• Document supports provided to individuals at the end of the day in our Electronic Health Record.
• Work as part of a team to create a fun, daily experience that people look forward to.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Entry-level position with less than 1 year of experience preferred.
