About The Position

The Residential Group Home Assistant at East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) plays a crucial role in supporting the management of a residential group home that serves up to eleven adult clients. This position involves providing administrative and clinical support to Case Managers and Program Managers, overseeing clients during daily activities, and ensuring that treatment plan goals are met. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, as staff may need to cover various shifts as needed.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a Human Services field.
• CPR/FA/AED certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support Residential Group Home Case Managers and Program Managers with administrative and clinical tasks.
• Oversee and coach adult clients during household duties and meals.
• Focus on treatment plan goals for clients.
• Provide backup for duties normally assigned to Residential Group Home Case Managers.
• Fill in on first, second, or third shifts as needed to cover for staff absences.
