About the position

The Group Home Manager at Everas Community Services is responsible for supervising residential programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves ensuring high-quality services, managing staff, and promoting the independence and well-being of residents. The manager works collaboratively with a team of professionals and is involved in various aspects of program management, including daily living skills training and medical support needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality services are provided to the individuals who reside in the group home
• Supervise staff
• Ensure daily living skills training, community activities, and recreation
• Plan and implement Individual Support Plans (ISP)
• Maintain daily, monthly, and annual required documentation
• Involvement in clients' medical support needs
• Plan and manage daily schedules
• Overall program management
• Assist with personal hygiene, medication administration, daily household chores, and community support.

Requirements

• Experience in DDD licensed programs, preferably as a manager or assistant manager
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Minimum of high school diploma; some college preferred
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Commitment to ongoing relationships with individuals served.
