About the position

As a Residential Group Home Manager at Humanity Plus Homes, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This full-time position requires managing a team of staff while ensuring that the needs of the residents are met with professionalism and compassion. You will play a crucial role in helping clients live independently and with dignity, while also fostering a positive work environment for your team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Manage 4-8 staff members.
• Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Transport clients to and from activities, including medical appointments.
• Fill out activity forms, time sheets, and other necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with co-workers, family members, and medical professionals to support client independence.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and any other required training.
• Valid Driver's License and auto insurance with an acceptable driving record.
• Criminal background verification with acceptable clearance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Strong direct care skills or a desire to learn.

Nice-to-haves

• Management experience (2 years preferred).
• CPR Certification (preferred).
• Medication Administration Certification (preferred).
