About the position

The Residential Group Home Program Manager at Danville Services of Utah is responsible for overseeing the care and support of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves working closely with Direct Support Professionals to ensure residents achieve their desired quality of life through skill development, daily support, and fostering meaningful relationships. The position requires empathy, patience, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain the schedules of direct support professionals.
• Monitor and supervise residents' finances.
• Foster positive working relationships with residents' family members, guardians, and support teams.
• Facilitate medical and psychiatric appointments for residents.
• Support residents with social and life skills development.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Complete daily documentation of resident activities and care.
• Engage in active interaction with residents and participate in fun activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities population.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in conflict management and leadership.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Quicken and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of medical, psychological, and social supports.
• Skills in Positive Behavior Supports and relationship building.
