About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential projects. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, requiring strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of residential construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Utilize construction management software such as Prolog, Primavera, and ProCore for project tracking and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using effective project scheduling techniques.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare construction estimates and manage contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Review schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project plans.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction process, implementing solutions promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in residential construction management or a related field is required.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software including Bluebeam for document management.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of contracts and legal requirements related to residential construction projects is beneficial.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Prolog software.
  • Bilingual skills.
