About the position

The position of HVAC Technician at Lee Company is designed for both entry-level and experienced individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality service in residential HVAC maintenance and repair. Technicians will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, and humidifiers. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC equipment operations and basic electronics, as well as the ability to work with various piping materials such as copper, plastic, and carbon steel. Technicians will also be expected to perform simple soldering and brazing tasks as part of their daily responsibilities. In addition to technical skills, candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and be able to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent GED, along with 2-3 years of experience in HVAC installation and service, and hold an EPA certification. Responsibilities

  • Perform residential HVAC maintenance and service at the master level.
  • Install, repair, and maintain a variety of HVAC equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, and humidifiers.
  • Understand and operate HVAC equipment and basic electronics of the system.
  • Implement basic piping practices, including copper, plastic, and carbon steel.
  • Perform simple soldering and brazing as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in HVAC installation/service.
  • EPA Certification required.
  • Ability to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
