About the position
The Residential Lawn Care Technician at Village Green is responsible for providing exceptional lawn care services, including fertilization and pest control, to clients in Plano and surrounding areas. This entry-level position emphasizes customer relationships and teamwork, with a focus on creating healthy lawns and pest-free homes. The role involves driving to various locations, evaluating lawn health, and applying necessary treatments while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company-provided truck to visit approximately 25 homes per day.
- Evaluate the health of lawns and landscapes at each home.
- Advise customers on methods to improve lawn and landscape conditions.
- Apply fertilizers and pest control products to create healthy lawns and landscapes.
- Build relationships with customers to enhance their experience.
Requirements
- Must have a current driver's license.
- Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire.
- Some leadership experience is preferred.
- Ability to work quickly with attention to detail.
- Desire to work outdoors rather than in an office setting.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in landscaping is a plus but not required.
