About the position

The Leasing/Portfolio Manager at HomeSimple Management is responsible for managing relationships with property owners and prospective tenants, serving as the first point of contact for leasing inquiries. This role combines sales and customer service skills to effectively match tenants with available properties while ensuring a positive experience for both owners and tenants throughout the leasing process. The position offers significant earnings potential through commissions and bonuses based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with property owners, understanding their unique needs and providing regular updates on leasing activities.
• Hone sales and follow-up skills to encourage property owners to hire for real estate services.
• Coordinate and conduct property showings, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for prospective tenants.
• Serve as the main point of contact for current tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally.
• Capture high-quality photos of properties to enhance listings and attract prospective tenants.
• Manage all aspects of the move-in and move-out processes, including property walkthroughs, inspections, and security deposit deductions.
• Draft and produce lease contracts and other documents for owners and tenants.

Requirements

• Proven experience in real estate, leasing, sales, or customer service.
• Current California Real Estate License or willingness to quickly obtain one.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a high drive for results and goal attainment.
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
• Durable car for travel requirements.
• Basic photography skills are a plus.
