No prior experience is necessary as we provide full paid training to ensure your success in this role. As a Residential Outside Sales Executive, you will be responsible for connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class 100% fiber optic internet services to new customers in assigned territories. You will utilize various field sales tactics in residential communities, generating your own leads through direct customer contact and following up on leads generated through our marketing activities. This role requires an outgoing and driven personality, as you will be engaging with potential customers in person, over the phone, and through various marketing channels. Your daily activities will include effective prospecting through in-person visits, placing door hangers, outbound calling, email campaigns, and engaging with local social media. You will also attend fairs, city events, and informational sessions to promote Clearwave Fiber's products and services. Building strong relationships and networks within your assigned territories will be crucial, as you will become the expert in your field and help customers understand the benefits of our services. Additionally, you will assist in organizing community events and provide technical support to customers as needed. This position offers a base salary with uncapped commission opportunities, allowing your earning potential to grow significantly based on your performance.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with potential customers in assigned territories to promote Clearwave Fiber's services.
  • Conduct in-person visits (85% of the time) to effectively prospect and generate leads.
  • Place door hangers and engage in outbound calling and email campaigns.
  • Utilize local social media for customer engagement and lead generation.
  • Attend fairs, city events, and informational sessions to promote products and services.
  • Build strong relationships and networks within the community to cultivate personal sales leads.
  • Become an expert in the competitive environment and effectively position Clearwave as the best choice for telecommunications.
  • Assist in organizing and hosting community events during non-business hours.
  • Provide technical support to customers as needed.
  • Track activity and results via CRM/sales software and provide summaries to management.

Requirements

  • Outgoing and driven personality with the ability to persevere.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and reliable personal transportation.
  • Availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays for optimal sales opportunities.
  • Desire to work in an outdoor environment with minimal office time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior sales experience (not required as training is provided).
  • Knowledge of fiber optic broadband technology and processes.
