As a Residential Outside Sales Executive, you will be responsible for connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class 100% fiber optic internet services to new customers in assigned territories. You will utilize various field sales tactics to engage with residential communities, generating your own leads through direct customer contact and following up on leads generated through our marketing activities. This position requires a proactive approach, as you will be expected to spend a significant amount of time in the field, effectively prospecting and building relationships within your community. Your daily activities will include in-person visits, placing door hangers, making outbound calls, conducting email campaigns, engaging with local social media, and attending community events. You will focus on selling new and existing Clearwave Fiber internet services, recommending product upgrades, and assisting in organizing community events to promote our products and services. Additionally, you will track your activities and results using CRM/sales software, providing regular summaries to your manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to work outdoors and engage with customers in a dynamic environment, with minimal time spent in an office setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect effectively in the community through in-person visits, door hangers, outbound calling, and email campaigns.
  • Engage with local social media and develop referrals to generate leads.
  • Attend fairs, city events, and informational sessions to promote Clearwave Fiber services.
  • Build strong relationships and networks within assigned territories to cultivate personal sales leads.
  • Become an expert in the competitive environment and effectively position Clearwave as the best telecommunications choice.
  • Assist in organizing and hosting community events during non-business hours to promote products and services.
  • Provide technical support to customers as needed.
  • Track activity and results via CRM/sales software and provide daily/weekly summaries to the manager.

Requirements

  • Self-drive and motivation to seek out new opportunities.
  • Effective communication and listening skills with strong organizational abilities.
  • Preference for outdoor work with minimal time in an office setting.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as prime sales opportunities.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior sales experience is advantageous but not required as training will be provided.
  • A working understanding of fiber optic broadband technology, processes, and billing systems would be beneficial.
