As a Residential Outside Sales Executive, you will be responsible for connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class 100% fiber optic internet services to new customers in assigned territories. You will utilize various field sales tactics to engage with residential communities, generating leads through direct customer contact and following up on leads generated through our marketing activities. In this role, you will spend most of your time in the field, effectively prospecting through in-person visits, placing door hangers, making outbound calls, and engaging with local social media. You will focus on selling new and existing Clearwave Fiber internet services, recommending product upgrades primarily in rural areas. Building strong relationships and networks within your assigned territories will be crucial, as you will become the expert in your field and communicate effectively about competitive offerings. Additionally, you will assist in organizing and hosting community events to promote Clearwave products and services, providing technical support to customers as needed, and tracking your activities and results via CRM/sales software. This position requires a self-driven and motivated individual who is comfortable working outdoors and has a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle. Flexibility is key, as you will need to be available during evenings, weekends, and holidays, which are prime opportunities for sales. We are looking for someone who embraces the outdoor environment and is eager to learn and grow within our company. With a base salary of $34,000 and uncapped commission opportunities, your earning potential is significant, with first-year target compensation exceeding $68,000.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect effectively in the community through in-person visits, door hangers, outbound calling, and email campaigns.
  • Engage with local social media and develop referrals to generate leads.
  • Attend fairs, city events, and informational sessions to promote Clearwave Fiber services.
  • Sell new and existing Clearwave Fiber internet services, focusing on product upgrades in rural areas.
  • Build strong relationships and networks within assigned territories to cultivate personal sales leads.
  • Become an expert in the competitive environment and effectively position Clearwave as the best telecommunications choice.
  • Assist in organizing and hosting community events to promote Clearwave products and services during non-business hours.
  • Provide technical support to customers as needed.
  • Track activity and results via CRM/sales software and provide summaries to the manager.

Requirements

  • Self-drive and motivation to seek out new opportunities.
  • Effective communication and listening skills with strong organizational abilities.
  • Preference for outdoor work with minimal time in an office setting.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays for sales opportunities.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior sales experience is advantageous but not required as training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic broadband technology, processes, and billing systems would be beneficial.
