As a Residential Outside Sales Executive, you will be responsible for connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class 100% fiber optic internet services to new customers in assigned territories. You will utilize various field sales tactics to engage with potential customers in residential communities. This position allows you to generate your own leads through direct customer contact, as well as follow up on leads generated through our marketing activities. Your primary focus will be on selling new and existing Clearwave Fiber internet services, recommending product upgrades, and building strong relationships within your assigned territories. You will spend most of your time in the field, effectively prospecting through in-person visits, placing door hangers, making outbound calls, and engaging with local social media. Additionally, you will assist in organizing and hosting community events to promote Clearwave products and services. This role requires flexibility, as you will need to be available during evenings, weekends, and holidays, which are prime opportunities for sales. You will also be responsible for tracking your activities and results via CRM/sales software and providing summaries to your manager.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with potential customers in assigned territories to sell fiber optic internet services.
  • Generate leads through direct customer contact and follow up on marketing-generated leads.
  • Engage in in-person visits, door hangers, outbound calling, and email campaigns to prospect effectively.
  • Build strong relationships and networks within the community to cultivate personal sales leads.
  • Become an expert in the competitive environment and effectively position Clearwave as the best telecommunications choice.
  • Assist in organizing and hosting community events to promote Clearwave products and services.
  • Provide technical support to customers as needed.
  • Track activity and results via CRM/sales software and provide summaries to management.

Requirements

  • Self-drive and motivation to seek out new opportunities.
  • Effective communication and listening skills with strong organizational abilities.
  • Preference for outdoor work with minimal time in an office setting.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as prime sales opportunities.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior sales experience is advantageous but not required as training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic broadband technology and processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
