In this position, you will be responsible for connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class 100% fiber optic internet services to new customers in assigned territories. You will utilize various field sales tactics to engage with residential communities, generating leads through direct customer contact and following up on leads generated through our marketing activities. Your role will involve a significant amount of outdoor work, with minimal time spent in an office environment. As a Residential Outside Sales Executive, you will be expected to effectively prospect within your community through in-person visits, door hangers, outbound calling, email campaigns, and engaging with local social media. You will focus on selling new and existing Clearwave Fiber internet services, recommending product upgrades, and building strong relationships within your assigned territories. Additionally, you will assist in organizing and hosting community events to promote Clearwave products and services, providing technical support to customers as needed, and tracking your activity and results via CRM/sales software.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with potential customers in assigned territories to promote Clearwave Fiber's internet services.
  • Conduct in-person visits (85% of the time) to effectively prospect and generate leads.
  • Engage in various marketing activities such as placing door hangers, outbound calling, and email campaigns.
  • Build strong relationships and networks within the community to cultivate personal sales leads.
  • Assist in organizing and hosting community events to promote Clearwave products and services.
  • Provide technical support to customers as needed.
  • Track activity and results via CRM/sales software and provide summaries to management.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a proactive approach and a hunger for seeking out new opportunities.
  • Possess effective communication and listening skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Embrace outdoor work with enthusiasm, as this role involves minimal time in an office setting.
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Be flexible and available during evenings, weekends, and holidays for optimal sales opportunities.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior sales experience is advantageous but not required as training will be provided.
  • A working understanding of fiber optic broadband technology and processes would be beneficial.
