As a Residential Outside Sales Executive with Clearwave Fiber, you will be connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class 100% fiber optic internet services to new customers in assigned territories through various field sales tactics in residential communities. You will have the ability and opportunity to generate your own leads through direct customer contact, as well as follow-up on leads generated through our marketing activities. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively prospecting within your community through in-person visits, placing door hangs, outbound calling, email campaigns, engaging with local social media, referral development, attending fairs, city events, informational sessions, and distributing marketing materials. You will focus on selling new and existing Clearwave Fiber internet services, recommend product upgrades mostly in rural areas surrounding your location, and build strong relationships and networks within your assigned territories. Additionally, you will assist in organizing and hosting community events and participate in activities that promote Clearwave products and services during non-business hours. This position requires a self-driven and motivated individual who demonstrates a proactive approach and a hunger for seeking out new opportunities. You will need to possess effective communication skills, a preference for outdoor work, and a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle. Flexibility is key, as you will need to be available during evenings, weekends, and holidays, recognizing these times as prime opportunities for sales. Responsibilities

  • Connect with potential customers in assigned territories to promote Clearwave Fiber's services.
  • Conduct in-person visits to effectively prospect and generate leads.
  • Engage in outbound calling and email campaigns to reach potential clients.
  • Utilize local social media for customer engagement and lead generation.
  • Attend community fairs, city events, and informational sessions to promote services.
  • Distribute marketing materials to increase brand awareness.
  • Build strong relationships and networks within the community to cultivate sales leads.
  • Provide technical support to customers as needed.
  • Track activity and results via CRM/sales software and provide summaries to management.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a proactive approach and a hunger for seeking out new opportunities.
  • Engage customers with exceptional communication and listening skills.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Access to a dependable personal vehicle for fieldwork.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior sales experience is advantageous but not required as training is provided.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic broadband technology and processes would be beneficial.
