About the position

As a Residential Outside Sales Representative at ABC Home & Commercial Services, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling our diverse range of home services directly to homeowners. This position is essential for expanding our customer base, as you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with our offerings. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will be crucial in fostering strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and achieving the company's objectives. In this role, you will be expected to effectively communicate the features, advantages, and benefits of our products and services. You will educate prospects and customers on the value of ABC services, ensuring they understand how we can meet their needs. Achieving new sales growth goals and meeting quotas will be a primary responsibility, and you will need to build and maintain strong customer relationships through follow-up phone calls and visits as necessary. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop cross-divisional sales opportunities, particularly focusing on Add-On Sales of our products and services. Completing all documentation accurately and promptly before, during, and after sales calls will be essential to ensure a smooth sales process and maintain records of your interactions with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell services directly to homeowners.
  • Identify potential clients and understand their needs.
  • Communicate product and service features, advantages, and benefits.
  • Educate prospects and customers on the value of ABC services.
  • Achieve new sales growth goals and meet quotas.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Conduct follow-up phone calls and visits as needed.
  • Develop cross-divisional sales opportunities, particularly with Add-On Sales.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and promptly before, during, and after sales calls.

Requirements

  • Previous outside sales experience is preferred.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to actively listen and understand customer concerns.
  • Proficiency in email, Microsoft Office Suite, smartphones, tablets, and computers.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Must have proper documentation to work in the US.
